Meet Vincenzo & Carmine

We are Vincenzo and Carmine, we are both Italians, from the province of Naples. We met seven years ago and never left each other. Just after 10 months, we bought a house together and 4 years ago we started our journey to fatherhood. Over the last few years, Covid has made this process difficult. We are still, without a doubt just as hopeful and full of love as we were before.

We are proud to be a part of a charity organization -La Casa di Nazareth- it is for the homeless. We provide them with hot food and support. And strive to put a smile on their face with group dances, games, karaoke etc. After participating in these events, we feel so full. We hope to raise our child to be compassionate and open-hearted.

Another thing we love is to travel. The opportunity to discover new cultures and meet new people. Is so important to us. We love the adventure and love being open-minded to new experiences. We love to cook at home and invite friends over. Vincenzo is a chef by profession, but Carmine is too by passion (His tiramisu is the best). Travel definitely inspires us in the kitchen.

Vincenzo is an executive chef of a 5 stars hotel in Positano. After finishing his gastronomy studies, he travelled the world and lived in China, USA, Dubai and Morocco for his work. 2015 he returned home for good and settled down on the coast of Sorrento. He is definitely an outgoing, joyful and curious person.

Carmine is in charge of our small family business. We own a B&B on the Sorrento coast. He also works in public schools. He is quite reserved but with a very strong character. He hardly changes his mind, but his loyalty is indisputable.

We have a wonderful relationship with our families, and they are our first supporters, along with all our friends. We grew up in very humble families, united and with extraordinary values. Always willing to help each other and always together, especially on holidays. This “one soul family” has forged us with a strong tendency “to give, to share, and to love”. Our families were never rich in materials but rich in love. That was more than enough for us.

From the first moment we met, we felt the need to live together and expand our family. As Italians (surrogacy is illegal in Italy), we have had to face many difficulties and prejudices, but we have never given up, on the contrary, legislative disputes have only strengthened us. Today we are here, ready to transmit all our love to our children. Everything we are building will be for them. We do not know any form of social or racial classification. Anyone who is willing to help us is more than welcome in our family. We do not place any obstacles on how the relationship should be between us and our future surrogate. As much as we would love to have a lasting relationship over time, where we can share our lives as much as possible. At the same time, we will of course respect your privacy and decisions on what you would like the relationship to be like pre-pregnancy and after.

We believe that the love that a parent gives to his children is true love, the pure and genuine one, the one that is never forgotten. We are also sure that there, somewhere far away from us in the world, there is our “special soul” who will help us to transmit this love we have for our children.
